yup, there are other scenes in the previous season that reminded me of lotr too.

This gives me such nostalgic feelings. It feels like I'm seeing Assassin's creed, prince of persia, X-Men origins: Wolverine PC game, and a bunch of other stuff. Just feels so good and comfortable, nyan~

Han Li is such a badass! Animation and fight scenes are beautiful. We are fortunate to have so many great animes this season!

Thank goodness I got the info that season 2 has started.

First minute felt like assassin's creed, wow!!!
And the second to third minute just looked amazing, wow, stunning!

😭 aiyo this definitely looks like assassins creed… Once again MCs cultivation or talent might be low but he was able to go against that guy and even injured him. MCs face looks more and more like that actor, well the similarities are apparent this season.

Didn't know the ghost sec young master was late stage foundation. Han Li actually got into a stale mate with him. He supposedly had a lousy spirtual roots

this is late but i think the spiritual roots mostly affect the speed of cultivation, not the actual strength at any stage. conversely with better spiritual roots you would of course be able to get to higher stages quicker which does make you stronger. plus han li ended up practicing a difficult technique (kinda by accident) that makes you stronger than others of the same level if succesful (but hard and time consuming hence very few practice it).

Yosh this quality is amazing! Literally had to make sure, if this was 2nd season, since the quality is much better. The opening scene through me in for a loop. Dont remember it from the novel.

they def increased the quality of animation. If not all but def they improved the areas around face. Like face itself, expression. Or may be its bec its been a decent while since season 1
